This October, the Robertson Wine Valley brings you an exciting spring experience! The Robertson Wine on the River is taking place 19 - 21 October 2007 at two riverside venues on the R317 road between Bonnievale and Robertson and replaced the old Robertson Food & Wine Festival in 2006.   You are invited to gather a group of friends and join us on the banks of the Breede River to taste more than 300 wines from over 40 wineries. Soak up the rhythm of LIVE jazz, ballads and blues and enjoy laid-back country hospitality at its best.

Apart from wine tasting, there will be  lots of food (Mediterranean Kitchen, “Create-a-picnic” marquee, Robertson Farmers’ Market, Cheese & Olive Tasting etc), tutored tastings, kids activities and selected arts & crafts.    Visitors will be shuttled either by boat or by taxi between the 2 venues, an experience in itself.  On your request the fun will continue on Sunday - perfect to lazily wind down a weekend before heading back home!
